Mediocre Temperature Neutrality

One of the worst feelings while you try to sleep, in my opinion, is the bed running too warm. Seriously, I’d like to see at least one person who actually willingly prefers feeling like they’re sleeping in a sauna.

When you opt for a memory foam mattress, there’s always the risk of heat accumulating inside it with nowhere to escape, causing you to experience an uncomfortably warm sensation.

Although many brand products, like the Nest Love and Sleep mattress, have started using more innovative technologies to create foam or latex beds with more breathability, they still fall short compared to hybrid and innerspring mattresses.

That is to say — the thermoregulation of the Nest Love and Sleep mattress isn’t terrible. But it isn’t great, either.

Given its price range, the durability of the Nest Love & Sleep mattress isn’t horrible – Energex is sturdier than regular foam, resembling latex-like quality. But if you were to compare it with some of the higher-end all-foam or latex hybrid mattresses, this model doesn’t really stand a chance.

However, if your sleep quality doesn’t improve, you can end up stuck with a product you don’t like. Both physically and financially.

For one, you won’t be able to initiate the return process early. This means that you won’t be refunded that entire first month. If your funds are limited, you might not be able to order a replacement early. Considering that some mattresses by other brands are made-to-order, this can turn into a hassle of even more waiting.

Furthermore, you might end up stuck with a product you don’t like and have nowhere to relocate on your bed frame. Although the mattress is relatively lightweight—the Twin weighs around 43 lbs while the Cal King is about twice as heavy—it’s not exactly something you can shove in the corner.
