Stearns and Foster Mattresses

Refresh, revitalize, and restore with Stearns and Foster mattresses. Each mattress in their luxurious collection is built using incremental layers of comfort materials and includes a supportive core.

It’s all in the Details

S & F mattresses are created for pure comfort and support. To this end, each mattress in their collection is created using unique details. For example, the coils in a S & F are individually wrapped in fabric “pillows”.

Each coil pillow works to receive the pressure placed on the mattress resulting in reduced motion displacement and increased orthopedic support.

Each mattress includes latex foam. This synthetic material is not only sumptuous, it improves blood flow during sleep which in turn lessens the need to toss and turn. The latex foam layer is naturally ventilated to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Memory foam allows these mattresses to cradle your body throughout the night. This is considered to be an important orthopedic factor which promotes proper spine position and proper neck position.

The memory foam in a S & F is striated into several layers, or zones. These layers combine to offer pressure point relief and conforming comfort.

A Supportive Core

S & F mattresses are well known for their supportive core. The core of each mattress uniquely combines innersprings and latex. The pillowed coils mentioned above are encased in a special foam system. Latex is added to the core to provide comfort, support, and durability.

The core also includes a cushiony “inner pillow” layer. This layer is made of a synthetic material that feels like natural down. However, it is hypo-allergenic. The inner pillow layer is the soft layer you feel when you first lay on the mattress. This layer comes in plush, ultra-plush, firm, and cushion firm.

Types of Stearns and Foster Mattresses

S & F has been producing excellent mattresses for over 100 years. In 1846 the first Stearns and Foster was sold to a thankful customer who sang the mattress’s praises far and wide. Through the years the company has never swayed from their traditional standards. Each year they incorporate their proven methods with advanced technology to create the best sleep surface available.

The company offers 2 lines of mattress. The first is the Legacy Innerspring. This line is their most luxurious. After good night’s rest on a Legacy Innerspring you will wake rejuvenated and ready for the day.

They also offer a line of Stearns and Foster Latex Sleep Sets. This style of mattress is less expensive, but no less comfortable than the Legacy Innerspring. Latex Sleep Sets are the company’s best sellers offering the feel of an innerspring but are made up of luxury latex at their core.
