Sealy looked to NASA when designing the TrueForm mattress. The memory foam and fabric overlay are both based on NASA materials. The memory foam used in the True Form was originally used to reduce pressure on the astronauts when they propelled through space.

The overlay material is constructed to fight extreme temperature fluctuations. The Outlast Smart Fabric technology manages your body’s heat while you sleep and keeps you cool and comfortable.

Customer comments run the gamut on this Sealy memory foam mattress. Some customers love it and will never buy another brand, others took some time to get used to it, and still others replaced it after 6 months.

Why the wide range of opinions? Although the TrueForm comes with firm or pillow tops it is one of the firmer mattresses on the market today. This is great for people with orthopedic problems. Customers with severe back problems and fibromyalgia pain report that they get great relief from the mattress.

Still, the mattress is too firm for some customers. It takes a while to get used to a new sleep surface and some customers appear to be satisfied once they have slept on the mattress for a few weeks. Others are unhappy with the firmness of the mattress and find they have to replace it with a softer one.
